This album is composed of recordings of bowed cymbals and metal, added to with double bass and saxophone.
I'm drawn to sounds of resonance, given the prevalence of chiming objects in our societies i suspect this common among us. I'm also hindered by skeletal and postural deformation as well as calcification of the joints, trying to oppose it's progress has become a pre-occupation. This approach to sound has helped that problem immeasurably; there is something about holding the resonant object and that energy transferring into the body which has almost amounted to sonic medicine, and my physical symptoms are in remission so something has changed. Therefore, this is music as medicine.
I hope too that the harmony comes through for the listener. The notes fluctuate across the soundscape, oscillate and phase.
